"Shala" is a Sanskrit word meaning house or home—a sacred space where we come together to practice, whether in person or online.

Where are the in-person sessions located?
We are located in the Greater London borough of Hillingdon.
All sessions are held in the 1st Ickenham Scouts Hall, Community Close, Ickenham UB10 8RE.
How to Book Your Class

You can choose from flexible payment options based on your schedule:
Full-Term Pass – The most cost-effective option for regular attendance.
Half-Term Pass – A flexible option with a slightly higher per-session rate.
Day Pass – Ideal if you prefer to drop in occasionally.

Monday morning, 9.30 - 11.00 am
Yoga for Women's Health
Build strength, improve mobility, and support your wellbeing through yoga, breathwork, and meditation. Designed for women in midlife and beyond, this energising morning class helps develop stronger muscles, better balance, and greater resilience while supporting hormonal health and overall vitality.
Wednesday evening, 7.30 - 9.00 pm
Stress Relief for a Good Night's Sleep
Release tension, calm a busy mind, and prepare for restful sleep. This floor-based evening class combines yoga, breathing practices, and meditation to help you unwind, reduce stress, and create a sense of calm and balance at the end of the day.
Friday morning, 9.30 - 11.00 am
Core Strength Yoga
Build strength, stability, and confidence from the inside out. This full-body class improves posture, balance, and core support while encouraging focus, resilience, and a willingness to explore what becomes possible through regular practice.
New to Yoga?
You don't need to be flexible or experienced to join. All classes include options and modifications, and individual guidance is available to help you practise safely and confidently.

What should I do before attending a class?
Please inform the teacher of any health conditions, medications, or concerns that may affect your practice. This helps ensure your safety and comfort during the session.
What if I feel discomfort during class?
Let your teacher know immediately if you experience any discomfort, so they can adjust or suggest a modification.
When should I eat before class?
It’s best to have your last full meal at least 2 hours before the session. A light snack or a cup of tea is fine if needed closer to the class time.
What should I wear and bring to class?
Wear loose, comfortable clothing and bring your yoga mat. Any other equipment will be discussed by your teacher if needed.
Are all postures suitable during menstruation?
Not all postures are recommended during the first three days of menstruation. Please speak to your teacher before class for safe modifications.
Who can attend your classes?
Everyone is welcome! All levels are supported, and every posture can be modified to suit individual needs and abilities.
