Feeling overwhelmed after your teacher training?

You’re not alone.
Many newly qualified yoga teachers leave their training inspired, but also unsure how to:

  • Plan classes without spending hours in prep.

  • Teach with confidence and authenticity.

  • Weave in yoga philosophy or pranayama in a way that feels natural.

  • Feel confident with anatomy and adapting classes for different bodies.

  • Create a teaching rhythm that avoids burnout.

  • Take the first steps toward a sustainable teaching career.

I know how overwhelming those first months can feel. That’s exactly why I offer mentorship for yoga teachers — so you can feel clear, confident, and supported as you grow into your role.

Why work with me?

I’ve been teaching yoga for over 25 years and have trained hundreds of teachers through Foundation, Diploma, and advanced teacher training programmes.

Alongside yoga, I’m also an Ayurveda consultant, which means I bring a deep understanding of energy, balance, and sustainable self-care into the mentoring process.

My approach is practical, supportive, and student-led. You bring your questions and challenges — I’ll guide you with tools, feedback, and real-life strategies that work.

How I can support you

  • Class planning and sequencing (without over-preparing)

  • Building confidence and overcoming imposter syndrome

  • Finding your authentic teaching voice and style

  • Setting up a sustainable workflow so you don’t burn out

  • Practical business basics (pricing, classes, workshops, online offers)

  • Integrating yoga philosophy into classes and courses

  • Weaving in simple pranayama and breathing techniques

  • Understanding anatomy in a practical way → how to adapt postures, teach safely, and feel confident with different bodies in your class

  • Self-care and Ayurveda for teachers (teaching with energy, not exhaustion)

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I know if mentoring is right for me?

Mentoring is ideal if you’ve recently finished your teacher training (or are still early in your teaching journey) and want support with lesson planning, confidence, philosophy, anatomy, or setting up a sustainable workflow. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, doubting yourself, or spending hours preparing classes, mentoring will give you clarity and confidence.

Do I need to prepare anything before sessions?

Not much! These are student-led sessions, so you bring your questions, class plans, or teaching challenges, and I’ll guide you. If you’d like me to review materials (like a sequence or handout) before our call, you can send it over — and I’ll provide feedback during our session.

How are the sessions delivered?

All sessions take place online via Zoom, so you can join from anywhere. You’ll also receive follow-up notes after each session with your key action points.

How long do I have to use my sessions?

Here’s the structure I recommend: 3 sessions is the minimum to make a real difference, while 6 sessions allow you to shift more deeply and build lasting confidence. At the end of the day, it’s up to you — some teachers continue with additional sessions if they want ongoing support, and that’s absolutely fine. The longer we work together, the more you’ll integrate and grow.

What if I can’t pay in full?

You can spread the cost across 3 instalments (slightly higher to reflect admin costs). For example, the 3-session package is £375 in one payment or £390 in instalments.

Do you only mentor new teachers?

Mostly yes — my focus is on newly qualified teachers or those in their first few years of teaching. However, if you’re a more experienced teacher looking to integrate philosophy, pranayama, or Ayurveda into your teaching, we can absolutely tailor the sessions to your needs.

What if I need ongoing support after my package ends?

You can always book another package or a single top-up session if you just need a check-in. In short, you can be mentored as long as you feel you need to.

Final reassurance

Becoming a yoga teacher is an incredible journey, but it doesn’t mean you have to figure everything out alone. With the right support, you can build the confidence, clarity, and sustainable rhythm you need to thrive as both a teacher and practitioner.
