A hands-on Ayurvedic Cooking Workshop to ease you into Spring
As we move out of winter and into spring, our bodies naturally want lighter, simpler food — but knowing what to cook (and how) can feel surprisingly confusing.
This 3.5-hour Ayurvedic cooking workshop is a practical, unhurried workshop designed to help you feel confident with simple Ayurvedic soups and meals that are suitable for spring — and supportive if you’re considering the Spring Cleanse.
This is not a full cleanse and not a cooking marathon.
It’s a gentle, hands-on introduction that makes seasonal eating feel familiar and doable.
What to expect
1. Arrival and seasonal orientation
We begin by settling in, with a brief introduction to:
why spring is a natural time for lightening and clearing
how food qualities change with the season
what makes spring food supportive rather than heavy
This is kept simple and practical — no prior knowledge needed.
2. Hands-on vegetable preparation (together)
We prepare vegetables as a group, just as you would at home.
As we chop and prep, we’ll talk naturally about:
why these vegetables work well in spring
how different qualities of food affect digestion and energy
simple swaps and adaptations
This part is relaxed, collaborative, and often where the best questions arise.
3. Cooking simple Ayurvedic soups
We’ll cook a selection of soups that:
are suitable for the Spring Cleanse
also work beautifully as everyday spring meals
You’ll see how spices, cooking methods, and simplicity make food easier to digest and more nourishing.
4. Eating together
Once the food is ready, we sit down and eat together.
This is an important part of the experience — slowing down, enjoying warm, freshly prepared food, and noticing how it feels in the body.
There’s space for questions here too, especially practical ones about the cleanse or adapting meals at home.
This workshop is for you if you:
want to eat more seasonally but feel unsure where to start.
are curious about the Spring Cleanse and want it to feel easier.
enjoy learning by doing rather than being taught at.
appreciate a calm, friendly, unhurried atmosphere.
